This page should not be speedy deleted because... --Julieprus (talk) 13:16, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Michal Szpak is a Runner up of the XFactor show and is well known in his native Poland, where he is one of the main attractions of the Orange Warsaw Festival. The tickets to this show were sold out over night once his participation was announced. all you have to do is google his name to see just how popular he is with his fans. Unfortunately he is also met with a lot of hatred in Poland for his unusual image, where he dresses in female fashion but claims to be heterosexual. Poland being as conservative as it is has a difficult time accepting Michal Szpak for his many differences from the typical artist. But, this entry should be allowed to remain as it shows to the world that Michal Szpak is accepted by the world fans if not in his homeland.[reply]

Eurovision

[edit]

All in all, Szpak won 3rd place from the public tele-voting and ended up benefiting from the new voting system.

How did Szpak benefit "from the new voting system"? The way that the votes were cast did not change, only the way the votes were presented on the night, so there was absolutely no benefit (or detriment) to Szpak. Skinsmoke (talk) 15:58, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not only the way of presentation changed. Unlike the previous years, two sets of points were given separately, one from the televoting and one from the national juries. Lupus28 (talk) 20:11, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
